Abstract

The research goal is providing a detailed view on the incorporation rate of corticosterone in the feather of domestic pigeon (Columba livia domestica) to further vaildate the use of feather corticosterone in research regarding the influence of anthropogenic activity on wildlife. Hereby, molecular data are correlated to feather corticosterone levels quantified by ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS).
